initial consultation
your first consultation usually lasts around an hour during which we discuss your present health concerns and have a thorough look at your past medical history, diet and lifestyle practices and previous and current medication followed by a more detailed and wider look at all the systems of the body. This allows us to examine underlying causes and patterns of disease, helping piece together a clear picture of your health status. subsequent shorter consultations are arranged every 2 – 4 weeks initially to assess the progress of your herbal treatment, making adjustments as needed. this may then be extended to every 6 -8 weeks dependant on your progress.
A bespoke, doable treatment plan is created and includes detailed advice about diet, lifestyle practices and nutritional supplements supportive of your herbal treatment. if required, further testing may also be recommended. Your herbal prescription usually consists of a blend of herbs in the form of a tincture (a liquid extract of herbs ) and/or infusion. In some cases other preparations such as aromatic waters, syrups, creams or oils may also be prescribed, but in all cases the medicines are convenient to take and require little or no preparation.

cancellation policy
please be aware, a minimum of 24 hours notice must be given should you need to cancel your appointment. less than 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge of your appointment fee. repeat cancellations may result in no longer being able to access my services.
